Catlyn Pierce, M.S., CCC- SLP,
Co- Owner & Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Catlyn is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with 6 years experience including work in private practice and in the public school system. She has experience working in the areas of speech sound disorders, language impairments, Autism, fluency disorders, developmental delays, pragmatic deficits, and individuals with AAC devices. Catlyn is married with two children, Ivy James and Tucker. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and attending sporting events.
Stephanie Young, M.S., OTR/L,
Co- Owner & Lead Occupational Therapist
Stephanie is a pediatric occupational therapist
with 8 years experience working as a school-based therapist. She previously worked in Wilson County Schools and has extensive experience working with
diagnoses such as Sensory Processing Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD, Low Vision, and many other diagnoses. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, gardening, and traveling.
Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO WE START SERVICES?
A formal screening ($25 fee) may be requested to determine if an evaluation is necessary. If your child fails the screening, an evaluation will be recommended. (The formal screening fee will be applied to the evaluation cost.) A referral from a pediatrician is required for insurance reimbursement. You may ask your therapist for a superbill to provide to your insurance.
WHAT ARE THE RATES FOR SERVICES?
Evaluations:
Occupational Therapy $175
Speech or Language $175
Speech & Language combined $250
Therapy Sessions:
Starting rate at $50 for 30 minutes. You and your therapist will determine the appropriate time for therapy sessions based on your child.
We are currently only accepting private pay.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are a mobile therapy services, therefore, we will come to you! Our therapy sessions can take place in the home, in school, in day care, playgrounds, libraries, in door play facilities, etc. Our service delivery model allows parents the flexibility to schedule services around busy schedules. It also This also ensures therapy is taking place is the best setting for the child.
Do you offer any other services?
In addition to traditional therapy services, we also offer consultation services for clients who qualify for services but do not want or need weekly therapy services. We also offer handwriting tutoring, virtual support groups, and enrichment classes throughout the year.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?
We accept all major credit cards, grants /waivers, HSA/FSA cards, direct bank transfers, and checks.

Scheduling therapy services is easy with SPOTLIGHT.
We work in homes, schools, day cares, and other community settings to promote generalization of skills into a child's natural learning environment.
SPOTLIGHT can provide services for children ages 3 months through young adult.
